Disadvantage Bus Topology:


1.If have problem in Cable Total Communication will be trouble.

2.Speed is very Slow

3.Multiple communication not supporting. 

What is the Ring Topology?   


The ring topology is actually a logical ring, meaning that the data travels in circular fashion from one computer to another on the network.

1.This is comparing to BUS, RING topology is best because data loss low.
2.Half Duplex Communication.
3.Twisted cable used for this topology.
4.Cost is low.

Disadvantage of Ring Topology:

1.Speed is low.
2.If have one computer is fault total communication making fault.
3.Only clock wise Communication.




What is the Star Topology? 


Alternatively referred to as a star network, star topology is one of the most common network setups. In this configuration, every node connects to a central network device, like a hub, switch, or computer. The central network device acts as a server and the peripheral devices act as clients.

Advantage of Star Topology:

2.Comparing to Bus.Ring topological star is best.

Disadvantage of Star Topology:

What is the Mesh Topology?

A network setup where each computer and network device is interconnected with one another, allowing for most transmissions to be distributed, even if one of the connections go down. Speed is less

Switch:

  • Minimum 8 port available it is called Mini Switch.
  • Maximum 100 port available.
  • Speed support up to 100 Mbps.

 MODEM(Modulation and Demodulation):

A modem is a device or program that enables a computer to transmit data over, for example, telephone or cable lines. Computer information is stored digitally, whereas information transmitted over telephone lines is transmitted in the form of analog waves. A modem converts between these two forms.

DEFAULT ROUTING:(It is Called Backup Routing):

In computer networking, the default route is a setting on a computer that defines the packet forwarding rule to use when no specific route can be determined for a given Internet Protocol (IP) destination address. All packets for destinations not established in the routing table are sent via the default route.
